OCR Canada Logistics Facilities & Technical Support to Continue Operations as ‘Essential Services’
To Our OCR Canada Customers and Communities:
Multiple governments have enacted ‘stay at home’ orders to curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This means all residents are mandated to ‘remain at home’ and only essential businesses may remain open to provide critical services. Under these orders, residents of the states must remain in their homes except as needed to maintain continuity of operations in 16 specific critical infrastructure sectors. Two of those critical infrastructure sectors, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, are the information technology and transportation & logistics sectors.
OCR Canada plays a vital role in the information technology and logistics sectors and in serving the supply chain in this unprecedented time of need. Therefore, our warehouses and support centers across the country will remain open and operational and our field services technicians will remain available to continue to serve our customers in fulfilling the critical technology needs of the nation’s federal, state and local governments, healthcare facilities, and education, industrial and financial services sectors.
We currently have large stocks of finished goods are closely coordinating with our suppliers and logistics partners to ensure prompt service. This will enable us to continue to serve our valued customers as we all work together to support the supply chain and critical industries in the U.S. and Canada.
We continue to implement strict precautionary measures in all our logistics and integration centers, in accordance with government and public health requirements, to reduce risk for colleagues who are performing their duties.
